About Me:
So, here goes... First impressions online are so different than those face-to-face. How does one accomplish more than a superficial view in a few words and a picture or two?
After asking a few close friends how they saw me, most said: generous, spiritual, passionate, loyal, caring, and creative. It's an interesting exercise to look at how others actually see us.
I am a long time Bahá’í and the Faith is central to who I am. That my partner is of my faith is not a requirement, yet it would be very important that our views on religion and its role are relatively aligned.
I appreciate creative humor, am sometimes pretty funny and sometimes seriously focused. I love to laugh and tease and utterly “get” someone.
Absolutely require touch, yet, know that more importantly is intimate communication and consultation, really listening to and genuinely caring about each other’s hopes and hurts.
I’m a jeans and flip-flops kind of girl but sometimes like to do classy and dress up for a formal affair. I'm rather country at heart, as I love the wide-open spaces. But, just like everything else… the city has its rewards.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you and seeing if we have somewhere to go. ☺ -
My Interests:
I love folk music and Van Morrison, blues, jazz, and some light rock. Very much enjoy Celtic... and recently fell in love with Bluegrass. Science and human nature fascinate me, which makes me a PBS nut. I’m not a TV junkie. I'm interested in tales of long ago history...of the west, of religion and of civilizations built and lost.I prefer quiet to noise, but getting into park concerts and a boisterous street fair now and then is really fun. I appreciate a good John Grisham book or a well-developed romantic story. Reading changes by mood.Travel is high on my list of pleasures: a cozy cabin in the silence of the woods, an incredible hotel on the skyline over the water, a beach vacation in a hut, camping by a river, cruising now and then, a road trip to anywhere, and national park visits… particularly the bizarre-ness of Yellowstone!! Travel IS adventure!!
