  • My First Blog: My favorite prayer 29/11/2018 Yo yo yo, I hope this works! This is Antonio writing my frist blog! I am still learning the mechanics of this site, but I am excited about the potentialities. So let's get right to it. My favorite prayer for the last few years now is the one beginning, suffer me, O my God, to draw nigh unto Thee...... I don't wanna write the whole thing, (look it up in your prayer book) but for me, I started saying this prayer when I was at a period when I was kinda lukewarm in the Faith. I was working and, although I participated in activities and attended feast, I wasn't serving at my full capacity. I was distracted. But deep inside I had this longing to be closer to Baha'u'llah. I would walk to work saying this prayer and walk home saying it, first just to memorize it, then because I felt it deep within. I am most attracted to the first part where it lists why I need to be close: I've been consumed by remoteness, separation has melted my heart, my soul burns with thirst searching for Him, I am bitterly in anguish and am drawn to tears. Man, it makes me want to have a devotional right now just thinking about it. I'll sign off for now. (Mostly because I wanna see if this will actually work)
