I first encountered the Bahai faith while living in the Czech Republic 10 years ago. Indeed, I spent half my twenties living abroad in Europe and Japan teaching English to adults and completing a couple of internships with the UN. I worked for two years full-time after coming back to Sydney, til I turned 30 and resigned. I then went on a soul-searching journey to India in late 2015 for 2.5 months, and wrote a blog about the journey, which I might turn into a book one day. I came back and decided to continue my studies, now near completing a full time Masters degree in Law and International Development at the University of Sydney, while tutoring at the University of Technology part-time. Equally significantly, I immersed myself in the Sydney Bahai community and Ruhi community building process after my India trip, and decided to declare two months ago after completing the ISGP graduate seminar. My dream and plan is for my work to contribute to bringing peace and unity in the world between all races and religions, through contributing to Bahai intellectual life, development and external representation nationally and/or internationally. I'd dearly love to meet a woman who can share in this vision.
